Air Co. can now produce vodka made from carbon dioxide. The company was a finalist for a $7.5 million prize to be awarded this year to teams able to devise the most profitable use for CO2. But COVID-19 has forced postponement of the competition’s final round. Fortunately Air Co. is temporarily using their alcohol to make hand sanitizer for donations in New York City communities.
