Washington’s rank and file have joined efforts to block research on climate change. The war no longer just comes from Trump political appointees on top. Lower managers in government are taking their cues, and running with them.

I don’t understand how the people blocking climate change research expect to be protected from the impacts of unmitigated, unabated climate change.
