Researchers are getting closer to being able to use photosynthesis (the sunlight-driven chemical reaction green plants and algae use to convert carbon dioxide into cellular fuel ) into fuel able to power our homes and vehicles. It could generate large sources of completely renewable energy using the surplus CO2 we’re generating with fossil fuels.
