OXYGEN LOSS PROBLEM

Oxygen is disappearing from oceans, lakes, rivers, and coastal waters at an alarming rate, weakening natural processes that help regulate Earth’s climate. Organisms experience reduced sensory abilities, growth, body size, and reproduction. Low oxygen can lead to widespread death, ecological impairment, threaten fishing, aquaculture, tourism, cultural practices, and “dead zones”.
