EXCITING ELECTRIC VEHICLE PROPOSAL

A new system is proposed that would allow EVS with low batteries to buy and share charge with others while driving, and without stopping. This peer-to-peer system could be orchestrated via a cloud-based control system. A two-battery system would include a large, slow-charging lithium-ion battery to drive the car, with a smaller, fast-charging battery used for on-the-go charging. Powered up, the small one would transfer its charge to the car’s main battery, saving precious charging time. The cloud-based network would monitor charge levels. If power starts to run low, the network would alert nearby cars with charge to sell. Once matched with owner consent, cables would connect the cars for charging and lock them at the same speed until the power transfer is complete.
