Five hundred plus groups joined by several legislators rallied on Capitol Hill demanding an end to fossil Fuel Subsidies. More than $15 billion in annual wasteful and destructive federal giveaways to the industry remain on the books even though Biden recently proposed a set of subsidy repeals estimated at $121 billion of tax expenditures over the next decade. It remains to be seen whether or not the President will prevail.
