Natural gas flared emitting methane as oil is pumped
The US shale industry is expected to shrink by more than 2m barrels a day with the collapse in global oil prices that forced oil producers to shut down their fracking rigs. Obviously that’s one of the rare good things about the pandemic since people aren’t going anywhere.
