COVID-19 AND ADAPTATION

The coronavirus cost is forcing cities and states to redirect money away from climate resiliency projects,  a shift that threatens to tackle one crisis at the expense of another. Environmental nonprofit groups face big drops in donations, cutting pay and freezing hiring.  Biden is focused more on critiquing Trump’s response to the virus than on climate change. And a Gallup poll has shown a drop in support for prioritizing the environment over the economy, especially among independent voters.
