The compressor station has permission to operate despite protests. But FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) has taken an unprecedented step, asking for more information about the compressor station, particularly in relation to climate change and environmental justice. This is a really exciting change. MA Mothers Out Front, Attorney General Maura Healey and Speaker of the House Ron Mariano have signed on as intervenors, as well as many state and federal elected officials and other organizations. More than 40 gas industry groups have signed on as intervenors too.
