TRULY HORRIFIC HURRICANES

Oceanic conditions that churn up the strongest hurricanes and typhoons are heating up in the North Atlantic and Western Pacific, fueled by warm water extending well below the surface. Climate change may be responsible for up to 70% of the growth of storm-brewing hotspots there. They’re making it more likely that stronger Category ‘6’ tropical cyclones may hit landfall in highly populated areas with wind intensity exceeding 160 knots.
