A reverse trend is now occurring with people moving out of the south rather than toward it, especially Floridians and Texans. Relocation is occurring on a smaller scale within cities, out of communities that are flooding with increasing frequency. Three million such have moved with an additional 2.5 million expected to leave these areas over the next 30 years. Heat waves are lasting longer and their season has increased by more than 80 days with some escaping that too.
