HORRENDOUS HOT SPOTS

Unexplained heat-wave ‘hotspots’ popping up across the globe are so extreme, they can’t be explained by global warming models. They’ve been hitting predominantly in the last five years or so. The most hard-hit regions are central China, Japan, Korea, the Arabian peninsula, eastern Australia and parts of Africa, Canada’s Northwest Territories and its High Arctic islands, northern Greenland, the southern end of South America and scattered patches of Siberia. Areas of Texas and New Mexico occur but aren’t at the most extreme end. Wobbles in the jet stream might be a partial explanation.
