And the state of Oregon and Bureau of Ocean Energy Management have committed to offshore wind energy planning with the BOEM having now identified locations on the Oregon Coast for massive wind turbines, some taller than the Statue of Liberty at more than 850 feet with the span of the whirling blades longer than a football field.
