Over the past 30 years, the oldest and thickest Arctic ice has declined by 95%. It’s now predicted that the Arctic could be ice free by 2035. That means more methane escaping from thawing permafrost, rising sea levels, more polar vortexes and heat waves, crop loss, etc.
