BETTER CROPS CREATED

Crops have been created that can respond to rising levels of atmospheric CO2, photosynthesize more, and produce higher yields. Sugarcane and sorghum crops have been produced that generated between 15 and 81% more biomass. Sugarcane produces the most harvested biomass of any crop worldwide; and sorghum is the fourth most important cereal in global production.
