For decades the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel reports have indicated the planet’s changing climate including observations from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the northern hemisphere autumn snow cover. NOAA showed increases in this snow cover of some 1.5 million square kilometers per decade. A new analysis shows it actually decreases by half a million square kilometers per decade.
