Sea grass cultivation doesn’t require artificial fertilizers, pesticides, or fresh water, doesn’t emit CO2, stores carbon in the soil and purifies the water. Sea grass seeds are ideal for baking bread that tastes a bit like rye. It will create a rich habitat for other organisms such as young fish and invertebrates, and the detached leaves at the end of the growing season can be used as insulation material.
