GAZA WAR AND GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS

In the first four months of the war, with some 156,000 to 200,000 buildings destroyed or damaged in the Gaza Strip, the resulting climate costs were greater than the annual emissions of the world’s 135 lowest-emitting countries put together. Add to that climate emissions from wartime activities, most from flights by Israeli fighter jets and U.S. cargo planes that supplied weapons, fuel, and other supplies. The people of Gaza are particularly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. Does anyone care?
